02.10.12- It was great to see so many people turn out for our Winter Artist Showcase, which SMB+A hosted on Friday February 10, at the newly opened Garden District Studio. The first event of a four part seasonal series was held in conjunction with SMB+A’s introduction to the surrounding neighborhood.
Presenting artist included the works of Jerome Ford, Kenneth Scott, April Henke, and Mary Wells. Live music was provided by Robin Barnes and the Soul Heirs. Food and drinks were coordinated by SMB+A and local event planner Melanie Minor.
SMB+A would like to thank the Artist, our professional colleagues, our many friends and family, that were in attendance this weekend. Due to your support of the arts this event can be considered an overwhelming success.
We now set our sights firmly on enjoying the Mardi Gras season, and look forward to hosting our second event the Spring Showcase.
